Hi, young Einsteins! I am glad to welcome you to Web Design & Coding club! My name is Mirell Krain, I am 29 years old and my goal is to teach you some basic skills on how to design webpages, create mobile games and develop mobile applications. Believe me, all IT companies would like to hire if, if you obtain those skills as early as possible.
A bit about myself as well. In June 2018 I graduated from Tallinn University of Technology. I was studying Business Information Technology and obtained a bachelor’s degree in technical science. For the last two years, I have been working as an IT analyst and tester in Trinidad Wiseman and Monese.
Since 2015 I have been co-working with Taltech and Mektory and I have been tutoring mobile games workshops. I have also carried out some workshops in Robotex, the biggest robotics fair in Estonia, and so far I have been enjoying it a lot. Therefore I have come up to open my own club for students. So you are most welcome to join.
I have graduated
Tallinn University of Applied Sciences in the field of automotive engineering.
Today’s automotive field is fast growing and always part of the technological
race. Vehicles consist of many electronic control units, sensors and wire mazes
to join them together into one mesh. To understand vehicles better it is good to
know how they think. Beside using softwares and programs it’s also important to
know the logic how computers think and why they behave like that. Fundamental parts
are step by step- and algorithmic thinking. That’s a good ground for building
further knowledge in technology and gives student a better intuition about
cause-and-effect relations. Key for success is to use today’s knowledge for
building better tomorrow. Let’s start learning this interesting and vast field
today, so we can compete tomorrow.
Come and learn
My name is Mihkel Laur. I am 29 years old, born and raised on small town Pärnu. The year was 1997 when I received my first computer. Since then, computers have defined my life. I was the go-to guy if someone needed games, software or just general help. After high-school I obtained a bachelors degree in IT and have been working in the field of IT for 6 years now. The last 4 years I have been a system administrator. My everyday job includes administering and maintaining several systems and services, configuring and maintaining servers etc. In the 6 years of my professional career, I have attended several trainings and conferences. Teaching is not new for me. In my organisation, I give several lectures in my field of expertise. These are either introductory 1 day lessons or very technical several day long hands-on type of lessons.
